Mann Lines have today taken over the company and the entire operation of ESCO Eurolines OÜ, with the exception of the ownership of the vessels, from Estonian Shipping Company Ltd. (ESCO). (see more...)

Estonian Shipping Company (ESCO) has today sold its daughter company "ESCO Eurolines OÜ" to the English transport company Mann & Son Holdings, Ltd.. ESCO Eurolines operates a ro-ro service, with two ro-ro vessels, connecting the ports of Muuga, Estonia with Kiel, Germany and Aarhus/Copenhagen, Denmark.

The actual transfer of the company and these activities to Mann & Son Holdings Ltd. takes place on July 31, 2003.

The Tschudi & Eitzen Group was founded in 1883. The Group has over the last decade grown from a traditional Norwegian shipping company into a diversified international shipping group.

The Owners of Tschudi & Eitzen Holding AS, Felix H. Tschudi and Axel C. Eitzen have now decided to split this common platform into two separate commercial platforms each pursuing their particular interests and competence. (see more...)

Mr. Jon Edvard Sundnes is leaving the position of Chairman of ESCO Management Board from April 1, 2003 and Mr. Soeren Andersen will take the position of the Chairman of ESCO Management Board.

Mr. Sundnes continues in ESCO Supervisory Board together with Mr. Felix H. Tschudi, Mr. Axel C. Eitzen and Mr. Mogens Worre Soerensen. Mr. Sundnes is elected Chairman of ESCO Council.

T&E ESCO now in operation 05/05/2000

"T&E ESCO" the new Crew Management setup (a joint ESCO and Tschudi & Eitzen Ship Management AS company) operating out of Tallinn is now in operation.

Mr. Indrek Lepp has been appointed General Manager and two vessels are currently manned out of this office. The two vessels are M/V Sidrako (handysize bulk carrier owned by Tschudi & Eitzen Dryship AS) fully manned and M/V Elsam Jylland (capesize bulk carrier owned by Elsam I/S). Elsam Jylland has Danish senior officers and the remaining crew supplied by T&E ESCO.
